Hiya, I have posted on here before and always got so much more advice than asking the midwife!!! I am now 37+1 and up untill last week baby had been turning from breech to head down. I went to hospital for check today and babys head is engaged and so the doctor said that he wont move round again. On my notes she has written 3/5 under Rel.pp to Brim, is this relating to the baby being engaged and does it give any indication as to when the baby will come? ( really big and tired and fed up with being pregnant so fingers crossed!) This is my 2nd.

it is a 'how long is a piece of string?' question.. but great news that baby is head down and engaged as more likely he will stay that way...it means that 3/5 of the baby;s head is in the pelvis, and 2/5 can be felt.. NOTE: baby can engage and re-engage, esp in second and subsequent pregnancies, but this is a positive sign... was your first early/ on time/ late?

My first baby was 6 weeks early. She did a scan today to check the babys position.

was there a reason ? or just one of those things? great you have held on until 37 +

have you had many twinges or BH this time?

Since about 32 weeks I have had loads of pains on and off, they seemed to think that some of the pains were the baby moving round alot ( breech to head down ). I have been expecting to have the baby sine then because of my first but no signs. I started bleeding on friday and went to the hospital but they said I had a urine infection and the bleeding was from my bladder. There was no reason for dd premature arrival, my waters just broke at 34 weeks. I was given steroid injections at 28 weeks this time. I just seem to have the feeling that its going to happen any minute all the time!!!!

oooh, so you need to get ready, just in case. try to take it easy, not always possible , but if you do have baby now, you are full term.. so all should be well

Thank you Lulamama, I'll keep you posted.
