I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and I'm currently getting A LOT of thick milky white discharge, I do have a photo but don't want to add as I think it's a bit tmi 🙈 this is perfectly normal right? 😂 every time I go to the toilet the discharge always seems to be there constantly 🙄

Hi OP! I’m 37+4 and exactly the same! I thought my waters broke earlier but no, just a lot of white discharge! It does happen towards the end as our body prepares for labour :) so yes perfectly normal!

@Alychloe ah Thankyou for the reply ☺️ ah good, do you also get the snot like stringy discharge stuff too? 😖 sorry for the personal question 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Yep! 36+3 and exactly the same, been pretty normal my entire pregnancy but more so now. And yes to the stringy jelly like discharge too, which I think is tiny bits of your plug coming away in preparation for the next few weeks. Exciting times ladies!

@ChlOeWh I haven’t had the snot coloured discharge yet which is the mucus plug! Just a lot of clear and white discharge.

I've had the grim snot discharge for a couple of weeks now, no streaks of blood in it though🤔 which I've read is common.. ah I'm glad it's not just me! I thought I'd got an infection or something 😂

I've always had a lot of discharge since puberty and there's lots now I'm pregnant too, there literally every time I go to the loo. I'm gonna be drowning in the stuff by the end of the pregnancy is this carries on 😭

(I've been checked for infections both before and during pregnancy, and nothing, I just seem to have a lot 😒)

So I had my midwife appointment this morning and explained the jelly like discharge and she seems to think it could be my mucus plug coming away, I do recall it's seemed to be coming away for a good week or 2 though? Hopefully this is the start of things? Not entirely sure how long it normally is between it coming away and labour beginning

@ChlOeWh glad you asked cause I was curious! I know they're never concerned unless it's blood tinged. But I hope it's the sign of labour pending shortly!

Best of luck your little one comes soon x
