Does this class as spotting or something more. Sometimes it's brown sticky. Other times it's like this

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I forgot to mention, that's about 3 hours worth on the pad and that tissue is what I see every time I wipe

Do you have any pain? Clots? (Golf ball sized I was told)
I had similar and had a scan that showed a subchorionic bleed so it's not necessarily bad news. I would class that as more the spotting and would see if my GP could refer me to EPU. Good luck Flowers

Annab1983 · 30/09/2020 14:49

I had painless bleeding like that on and off from 12-16 weeks and all was fine and no reason was ever discovered. Another scan is all that you can do to confirm so I would do that, fingers crossed!

TheDaydreamBelievers · 30/09/2020 15:13

Honestly it could be fine could be not fine. Recommend you call EPU to discuss with them. Best of luck xx

Hi all thank you for commenting. I've had pain but not uncomfortable pain. No clots bigger than a 5p coin. It's a little heavier today though I just noticed quite a lot. It just feels like a normal period to me now. I've already had a epu appointment scan and all was fine baby has heartbeat and couldn't find any cause of bleeding

It's so hard isnt it early pregnancy and just having to wait it out! Will they scan again in a few weeks?

CarrotInATree · 30/09/2020 15:26

I’d say that is more than spotting. Were you already bleeding when you had the EPU scan?

donewithbeingpreg · 30/09/2020 15:29

I was already bleeding yes. I had slight bleeding Saturday. None Sunday but we did have intercourse. Then Monday is when I started bleeding like this. Since then it's not gone at all. So Saturday and Monday was bleeding before scan on Tuesday yeah

Did they mention a haematoma during the scan?

I had SCHs with both my pregnancies and bled throughout the first trimester. Sometimes it was just brown spotting other times it was a full flood.

If you're still bleeding you can go back for more scans if you need

donewithbeingpreg · 30/09/2020 15:43

@Twizbe

no :(
she said there was absolutely nothing showing where the bleeding could be coming from. It could be that maybe she missed if but I can't have another scan unless I've been bleeding another 48 hours and the doctor still 'consider' another scan.

I had similar in my first pregnancy. It turned out it was the wall of my uterus bleeding everytime it stretched. All was ok though!
Second pregnancy I bled for a couple of weeks and that was my cervix bleeding, again all ok.
But I couldn't rely on those explanations incase it masked anything so I was always going to the hospital to get checked! They were very nice about it

donewithbeingpreg · 30/09/2020 15:49

@mintich I'm really hoping then I have a similar thing going on. My first pregnancy it was just a small about from my last period so it was more brownish. It stopped within 2 days. This time it's feeling so much like a period it's crazy Shock
