PCOS & testing

Hello, just wondering if anyone is in the same situation.
I was expecting a period around the 12/09/2020, but obviously periods with PCOS can never be planned. However on the 12th I got a lightest pale pink blood when I wiped and then brown discharge the day after. 3 days later I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. However I've felt really sick so took a test yesterday and it was a faint line. Is this possible that PCOS could have made me ovulate later then expected ?
The line come up straight away, within a minute so not to sure if it was an evap line or faint positive.

So you've not had a period at all? I have pcos and my cycles are really long. It could be that the spotting you had was ovulation, or even implantation bleeding. I can see a very faint line. I would test again, I prefer the pink dye tests, or get a digital and do it first thing, good luck 🍀

@EdwardCullensBiteOnTheSide no I've not except from that little bleed, I took this test at mid day too. So was thinking maybe that could be why it's quite faint. Yes I thought I might just wait 2 days and re test with a digital. Thank you x

I have PCOS and my periods were anything from 37 days to 3 months apart. I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant and randomly ovulated a week early and we finally made it! It was a huge surprise.

Clear blue aren't brilliant and there are lots of negative reviews on them also. I would get a First Early Response. When was this little bleed? 10-12 days ago?

If you are not pregnant, and are trying, I couldn't recommend temping enough. It'll tell you when you've ovulated, (if you do and only after though) and also if you're pregnant you'll get a temperature rise again. I got a temperature rise on the morning I found out I was pregnant. It was good to know when my period was due. It was invaluable to stop any of this worry

Digital aren't as sensitive usually and often miss a positive when FRERs pick them up

@Mycrazylife85 really did you get a temperature rise. Crazy you say that since 2 days ago I've been over heating like crazy and even had to come off work due to the overheating and sickness. And yes I had that slight bleed around 15 days ago I'd say.
Really ? My periods come on regularish.. but since I had a miscarriage in April they have been all over the place xxx

@Mycrazylife85 I only used the clear blue as thought they were a good make.. I'm going to grab a pink dye test and try tomorrow morning xx
