Silver cross or bugaboo?!

How did you decide what pram to opt for?

I tested some today in John Lewis and I like both the bugaboo fox 2 and the silver cross pioneer. Anyone had either of these and can share what you do/don't like about them?

I'm leaning towards the silver cross as it's a bit cheaper, but am after real life reviews/recommendations before I buy!

We decided against both, but of the two I preferred the bugaboo.

I've only ever used a silver cross but I would highly rate them, think I have the wayfair one and it's so easy to put up and down and was quick compact when down so could fit in my car but like I say I've not tried any others so can't say if any others are better xx

I bought silver cross brompton special edition (pioneer) and regretted it.

We hardly used the carry cot because we both drive so the car seat was mostly connected to the chassis instead and having separate carry cot and buggie attachments were a pain when storing them.

There was a really nice mamas and papas pram where the buggie seat could be used from new born. Wish I'd bought that instead.

The wheels on the silver cross pioneer are terrible too. Slightest bump, pebble, even lowered curbs and it stops dead and you almost fly over the pram handle! Does look nice though.

If you do choose the silver cross, do not buy their baby car seat!! Luckily we got it free but it was awful. DD was sat at a really awkward angle no matter what we did so bought the maxi cosi i-size and stuck the car seat in the loft.

I went for the silver cross pioneer - I loved it. It looked so smart and was really manoeuvrable.
