Baby measuring big, super hungry!!!

I'm 37+4 with first baby. This is my miracle baby, I've had 4 miscarriages (all before 12 wks) previously.
My bump had been measuring small (this wasn't a big concern as I'm quite tall with a long torso) until 36wks where it suddenly jumped up. I had a scan this week and baby is measuring in the 99th percentile. All my bloods ect have been good so far and I eat healthy 80% of the time. I'm still super hungry and now starting to worry that I'm eating too much. I was feeling so positive until the Dr freaked me out and even mentioned the option of 38wk induction. I've opted to wait for now as baby is moving well and everything appears to be fine. Please let me know if you've experienced anything similar or any positive big baby birth stories!!

Keep in mind the measurements aren’t always correct. I was over the 99th cent mark at 36 weeks and he was weighing 8.3lb. Was told he would be around 10lb he weighed 8lb exactly at 39 + 2 when he was born. I was holding a hell of a lot of water also. I had to have an emergency C section but it not to do with his size. Before the complication (was with me not him) all was progressing well. I got offered to be induced at 37 weeks and declined also. You will be fine, just keep doing what you are doing. Wishing you and baby all the best x

The amount of times I’ve heard women being told their babies are measuring big or in my case small. It causes so much worry, of course sometimes it’s accurate.
I would eat what you feel you need to but try not to worry.
For what it’s worth, I was told my baby was small and I was induced and she was just shy of 7lb at 40 weeks.
If I’m offered an induction due to size this time, I’m going to decline.

Thanks @holliej & @Bernardstolemywatch, I feel a little better about it all now. I'll continue what I'm doing and let baby do its thing and come when it's ready 😊 x

I’m getting the opposite. Mine’s measuring on 98th and I’m really worried about it and the midwives are just telling me it’s not an issue and ignoring it. I needed an episiotomy to get my 75th son out so I’m worried about a big baby but nothing seems to be put in place.

Can’t help on the measuring big side I’m afraid but I had a big baby (10lb 14oz) which was never picked up on any antenatal appointment - including the scan with a consultant a week before his birth as they thought he was breech. So I had my planned home birth and it was only after he came out that everyone was shocked at the size. He was on the 99.9 percentile and he came out fine. He was my second baby but i really wouldn’t get too hung up on size. My smaller 8lb 8 baby got stuck and needed forceps!
