So, the other day I noticed the teeniest tiniest bit of blood when I wiped and that was it. Nothing else. This morning I noticed more. It was a little stringy red blood and a tad bit brown. Since then (all day) I've had pinkyish red blood every time I wipe. I put a pad on before I saw the doctor and when I got home 2 hours later it was about a 1/4 full of browny red blood. Not loads, it hardly felt wet (yes I ran my finger over it to see how soaked it actually was). But the blood was still there. I've only had slight twinges here and there. But not PAIN like, it's not even uncomfortable to be honest. So far I've not been wearing a pad and there is just the odd spots of blood on my knickers at a time ( every hour or so).

Anyone experienced this and had healthy pregnancy? Sad

Yep. DD is now 8 months and perfect.

I had bleeding from my cervix on and off during pregnancy, and as I am rhesus negative it needed to be investigated each time, which was a faff but reassuring.

Zippy1510 · 28/09/2020 21:19

Bled constantly through my last one and in the first 8 weeks of this one. All was fine.

Thank you ladies. I have a scan tomorrow but it's so hard not knowing! I had bleeding with my last pregnancy at about 6 weeks but it wasn't as much as this. It was just old blood from my last period only just making it's way out. Hoping that's what it is this time.
Partner is heartbroken like me, I've never seen him so upset. He's just followed me around like a lost puppy this evening bless. Breaks my heart seeing him like that. I just want him to have his two healthy kids like he's always dreamt ya know :/ 🤞🏼

Hi op sorry your going through this it is really upsetting and stressful. Try not to worry around 12weeks I bled a lot I cried a lot too managed to get a private scan and baby was fine they couldn't see why it was happening just one of those things I'm now 25 weeks x

donewithbeingpreg · 29/09/2020 09:57

Update so, this morning was just brown tiny bits. No cramping. Just been now to check (got my scan in an hour.) and more red blood and a 5p size of blood clot. Not looking great 😭

Parkandride · 29/09/2020 10:59

Glad you've got your scan, I really hope its nothing. I had painful clotty red bleeds at 6 and 7 weeks, scans afterwards were fine so keeping my fingers crossed all is still ok x

Emelene · 29/09/2020 11:09

Good luck OP, thinking of you. Thanks

That's me not wording it right, I ment when I had my bleed. 😘thank you x

donewithbeingpreg · 30/09/2020 09:08

Ah ok :)

Update - I'm on day 3 now of bleeding. Yesterday morning is when we saw the perfect little heartbeat and she told us there was nothing wrong with any of it so she can't explain where the bleeding is coming from. She said it could be further down in the cervix? I'm bleeding a lot more than she must have thought ShockConfused

Some people have normal periods through out could it be that? Xx

donewithbeingpreg · 30/09/2020 12:16

It could be but it seems a little different to my normal periods. In the morning it's all brown blood. Sticky brown blood then I get a gush of red blood with teeny tiny little sticky type clots about a pinky finger nail size. Then for the rest of the day it's just almost like a light period. Then all over again the next day. Cramping is all over including my hips. I gave birth 5 months ago so it could be something to do with that, but they don't know and all they could tell me today over the phone was to just keep waiting for another 48 hours ConfusedSad

Thank goodness! So happy for you!!! XX
donewithbeingpreg · 30/09/2020 15:26

@NavyBerry I'm 7 +3 today. It's strange because the heartbeat and baby were all ok and there was absolutely nothing she could see from the scan (which was clear to her) that was wrong. She just said it could be further down in the cervix. But it's a lot of blood. More like a period now. I still feel very pregnant mind

You had a baby 5months I reckon says it's all. I'm sure they say it takes a year for everything to go back to normal try not to stress

calimommy · 30/09/2020 16:43

Heavy bleeding like that could be a sub chorionic haematoma. They are clots or bruises in the uterus which can bleed quite heavily.

donewithbeingpreg · 30/09/2020 17:13

@WhoUsedMyName
I know, though they're all saying (doctors) it should be fine.

@calimommy
Hi, that's why I'm conceived the sonographer possibly missed something.

One thing I do remember her saying was I had a cyst. That cyst has been there since the start or before the start of my last pregnancy and caused no issues. I'm sure that can't be the reason she would have noticed it. I've had no excruciating pain either for it to have burst
