Does morning sickness get progressively worse?

Just that really. I'm 7w and have just started to feel bad the last few days. Nothing too serious, just constant nausea and dry retching, and I'm struggling to find foods I can stomach. But should I assume it's going to get worse before it gets better? Or is this it?

I started to feel constantly sick around 7 weeks but didn't actually start vomiting until about 13 weeks. This continued until I was about 21 weeks then it just suddenly stopped. As PP have said, just eat what you can for now. Hopefully the feeling won't last for too long and you'll be able to tolerate vegetables again soon.

I definitely found it came and went a lot, annoyingly coming back for a day or so just when you thought it would be gone for good. Mine was worst between weeks 7-9, and then abruptly got better over the course of one day (it was the day of Harry & Meghan's wedding because I clearly remember watching the livestream in the morning feeling like death but by evening I suddenly had an appetite for the first time in weeks!). So there is some hope even if you feel terrible! A friend of ours also mentioned her MS going away literally overnight.

Though as mentioned it did come back randomly but rare enough to be manageable. I carried ginger sweets and snacks around all the time and made sure my stomach didn't get too empty. The "lingering" phase went on until 20 weeks. Luckily it went away for good, not a twinge during the third trimester, and (incredibly) zero heartburn either!
