Is it normal to have so much anxiety before a scan? I'm due to have my 20 week scan today and I feel so sick with nerves and anxiety. Please say I'm not the other one

@emily97Xx I was really nervous before both of my scans (I’m still 1st trimester but had early scans due to IVF).... i think everyone feels nervous about the unknown, and feels fears about things that might happen, but in the vast majority of cases everything is absolutely fine.. It’s your mind trying to prepare you for something that hasn’t happened, and probably won’t happen! I find it really reassuring talking to other people who’ve been through that milestone. Take care! Totally normal! My 12 week scan is on Wednesday and I’m shitting myself.

Hope all goes well Flowers

Good luck x
