15 weeks yeast infection

Hi!!

Is anyone else experiencing yeast infection in and around vegina during pregnancy? I tried 7 days OTC treatment as suggested but doctor but no relief.

What treatment did you use? Its normally pessaries that would be used for thrush in pregnancy

I can sympathise - I have had thrush on and off for weeks due to using progesterone pessaries. I’ve found that Gyno-Daktarin Cream (can also use as pessary) works much better than Canesten. Hope you get some relief soon!

So I had an appointment today and doctor prescribed Terconazole cream , it's a 7 days course to insert inside and she recommended to use Hydrocortisone 1% cream from over the counter for outside area.

Thank you!! The Doc prescribed a new 7 day treatment, hopefully this should help. The only thing worked for me so far is applying yogurt down there and it would ease pain in less then 5 minutes.
