Anterior placenta

Hey

I'm 17+4 and have an anterior placenta. Slightly frustrating that a lot of women are feeling movement and I'm not (although super happy for those that can just more frustrating that I have an anterior placenta), and wondered at what point for those who are first time mums to be felt their baby move with an anterior placenta?

I'm not worried but given my previous MC, I just want to feel my baby move!

Thank you x

@mlax I have an anterior placenta and am currently 24 weeks, I would say that I was starting to feel consistent movements from only last week, but had odd pops etc from about 21 weeks

I have an anterior placenta and felt movements around Week 21/22. Before that I used to feel flutters some days but not always...felt them maybe once or twice.

I have felt movement since 19 weeks. This is my DC4. I have had days where he has been very quiet and have been in once for reduced movement because of his position and the placenta.

I had one and didn't feel anything until 23 weeks

I'm on my second pregnancy but I've had an anterior placenta with both, with my daughter I felt every kick and roll from 15 weeks but this time i started to feel mild movement fro. 18 weeks but only been since about 24 weeks that have felt regular strong movements. This time my placenta is low lykng as well as anterior so I dont know if this makes a difference

Hi! I was about 19/20 weeks when I started to feel definite movement. Before then I think I had flutters once or twice, but nothing I was sure about.

I have an anterior placenta and it’s my first, honestly was so stressful at the start! I don’t think I had consistent movements til gone 28 weeks prob 29-30 and now at 38 weeks baby still doesn’t move loads. I used the kick counter app to help try and distinguish a pattern which reassured me a bit. But my baby is quiet and also doesn’t really move at night more midday which also seems unusual and scared me more.
Try not to worry, use the app as it really helps keep track and then don’t be afraid to talk to your midwife and go in for monitoring if you need xx

I'm pregnant with twins both placentas anterior - last Thursday I felt loads and they were really busy - since then they've been pretty quiet - I'm 19 weeks x
