Movements not as strong

I'm 32 weeks and this evening I noticed baby hasant moved as much as ushal. So I did the trick of a cold glass of water and laying on my left side, it got baby moving. But the movements arent as strong. Along with this I've had a dull like period pain in my pelvic area all evening.

I rang the day unit and they said the pain is normal probably pelvic somthing, can't remember exactly what she said as I was so focused on why is baby not moving as strongly. She then went on to say that she's not concerned as baby is still moving and to have a bath, take some paracetamol for the pain and try to relax.

I'm so worried about something not being right as he normaly has very strong moments and all I've had is dull movements like I did at 25 ish weeks. I also feel like he's not moving as much as usual as he's normally non stop in the evening.

Ring again and quote the ‘any change In movements’ guidelines. They really should get you in.

Call again OP. If you are concerned, try again Flowers

Call again and ask for monitoring, it's always better to be safe than sorry ❤️

Their own guidelines!

Agree. Quote the NGS guidelines back at them. It’s so important.

Yes absolutely ring up again and say yoi would like to go in for monitoring. Most likely everything is fine (most of my nct group went in due to reduced movements at least once and all ok) but not worth the risk for the sake of an hour or so getting checked.

Insist on being seen Op. You know what's normal for your baby. I had similar issues and I'm glad I made a fuss. Hope all is well Thanks

Ring back. Movements have changed.

I can't remember when exactly but at 30 something weeks my movements became gentler /less forceful as she ran out of room to kick and the movements were more like she was bumping into the walls aside from my ribs she still managed that. For me it was a gradual change though. If you are worried always get checked
