Hi ladies I'm 19 weeks on Tuesday and I've not gained any weight should I be worried ? I'm actually over weight anyway ( 15 stone 6 pre pregnancy and now 15.1 ) so I'm not hugely worried but I'm concerned that my baby isn't getting enough ? I eat a lot less than I did before falling pregnant but by no means do I ever starve myself x

I’m 22 weeks and haven’t put on any weight yet, I was 12 stone pre pregnancy. If your overweight you do tend to put on less or even loose weight. As long as your eating healthy, baby always makes sure it’s getting all it needs from you

Not everyone gains lots of weight over pregnancy.
I didn't gain much weight during my pregnancy and most of that was in the third trimester. When I was worried about weight loss in my first trimester my gp told me that the baby will take everything it needs if anyone is going to suffer from me being unable to eat & losing weight (pregnancy sickness) it would be me not the baby. If you are eating the recommended amount for your activity levels/lifestyle your baby will be getting enough, it is only the third trimester that you need to eat more than that and only by 200 kcal.
