Dropping HCG levels

My levels have dropped from 234 to 134 in 48 hours but I've had no pain or bleeding yet.

Is this a missed miscarriage or will the bleeding start soon

Any experiences?

So sorry your going through this.

This is very common unfortunately, its called a Chemical Pregnancy.

You should expect a bleed soon but not sure when. It could be tomorrow or in a week.

Be kind to yourself.

Thanks I'm 6 weeks Tuesday so it's a bit sad but I just want it to be over now and not be ectopic which was what happened last time

Sorry, but with HCG levels this low at 6 weeks, it wouldn't be a viable pregnancy.

This happened to me. I was dead on 6 weeks, went for a scan... nothing there and my HCG was just 189.
I started bleeding at 6+5.

This, like yours is a bit of a drawn out chemical pregnancy as they dont normally last this long.

Its shit all the same.

@goingmadwaiting sorry to hear you're going through this. I'm in a similar situation.

Last Sunday I went to a and e with terrible cramps, I had a blood test and my hcg levels were 1300. I went back on Tuesday and they were 1100. I was told there was no chance and that I would definitely miscarry. I had a scan on Thursday and there was a yolk sac measuring 5 weeks and 4 days (I thought I was 5 weeks and 6 days) there was no heartbeat which the doctor said isn'tunusual for that early. She told me that it is very likely the pregnancy won't be viable but there is a small chance that things will be fine. I left hospital with a tiny glimmer of hope and have been in limbo ever since. I need to go back in 2 weeks for another scan to see if it's grown.

This is going to be a long 2 weeks. I had a tiny bit of bleeding last Saturday (and I mean tiny) but nothing since. My pregnancy symptoms are worse than ever and I still have cramps. Last year I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks but the embryo hadn't developed past 7 weeks and for those four weeks I felt really pregnant. I've read a bit about women who've had healthy pregnancies after reducing hcg but unfortunately its very rare x

Neither of us know what the outcome will be but I just wanted to let you know that there's someone else going through this x

Sorry to hear of your situation @luckylakes being in limbo is awful. I hope it works out ok for you

@Ned2021 thanks for sharing your experience and sorry you went through it too. I just want over now so I can have a glass of wine and feel sorry for myself

How long did it take for your levels to drop to zero and how bad was the bleeding?

I understand that.. i may speak out of turn but if it was me, i would have a glass of wine when you want.
It took weeks for my levels to go to 0. They went up a little then they didnt budge for a week or 2. Id say it was a good 4-6 weeks.

The bleed if i recall was a little heavier and the blood wasnt as fresh. This was 8 years ago (to the day in 2 days) so my memory is a little hazy!
