Tripped & fell on stomach

Hi, I'm sure that I'm worrying about nothing but earlier today I was chasing my toddler through some woods and stupidly hand my hands in my hoodie pocket. I tripped over a tree stump, flew threw the air a little then landed on my stomach with my hands squashed underneath. I'm 10 weeks pregnant so no real bump, and I know that baby is surrounded by plenty of padding but my stomach felt sore all afternoon and this evening my morning sickness isn't as bad as it normally is. Should I be worried or is that silly?

You’ll be absolutely fine, your baby is about the size of a raspberry if that and nestled safely way under your pubic bone so no way near your belly☺️

You’ll drive yourself mad symptom spotting but I understand your anxiety, but morning sickness comes and goes and if it was due to a decline in HCG that you didn’t feel as sick, that would take days maybe a week. It’s purely coincidence that you don’t feel as sick tonight, rest up and relax- although easier said than done with a toddler!

OP, I completely agree with PP. Your wee one is well tucked in your pelvis and well padded, and well protected from any bumps.

At 10 weeks nothing to worry about, no :) Baby isn't out of your pelvis yet so nowhere near the soft abdomen you can feel. Do you have a midwife yet? This is the kind of thing you can call and ask about.

A reduction in sickness is normal around 10-12 weeks and is likely to be coincidental.

Thanks all for the reassurance. I knew I was being irrational but my mind went into overdrive in bed!
