Shoulder Pain...When to worry

Hey everyone,
This is my first pregnancy so I'm obviously ultra worried about every new ache and pain. For the past week or so I've had like a 'twinge' in my right shoulder joint. I thought I'd just slept on it wrong but it's not going away and getting a little worse.
I'm about 7 weeks pregnant. I've been getting cramps, similar to period cramps off and on. They were worse earlier but now come and go. I've also had some pains in my right side come and go, similar to the 'stitch' feeling.
No bleeding or spotting.
I'm obviously worried about shoulder pain and its connection to an ectopic pregnancy but I could just be being paranoid. My first appointment is this Thursday, but I don't know if I should try and get in earlier with this new pain.
Should I be worried?

Hi OP, I had an ectopic in February and none of the usual symptoms as such, just some brown spotting. Everything I've read since it happened said to definitely get any shoulder pain checked out. Can you get to a walk in centre? Or maybe phone 111 for advice just to be sure?
I don't want to worry you of course, but if it is, and ruptures it can be very dangerous.
I hope everything is fine for you!

I definitely think give your local antenatal department a call and speak to a midwife to voice your symptoms and at least they can give you advice.
I will say though the anxiety of symptom spotting and the first trimester can be extremely stressful and I used to get all that anxiety around my neck and shoulders. Easier said than done but do try to relax and take it easy. Hope all goes OK for you.

I've had 2 ectopics both ruptured - shoulder tip pain is the last symptom you experience before basically collapsing as it's caused by internal bleeding reaching the diaphragm and trust me you'd know about it before it got to that point as it's the worst pain I've even experienced. Literally couldn't stand or walk doubled over pain.
Its more likely that you've slept funny or anxiety is making your muscles tense x
