Baby head butting?

Hi all,

I'm just about 21 weeks and have started feeling baby move a lot in the past week or so. He seems to have skipped the 'butterfly flutters' and 'popping bubbles' stage and gone straight for what I'd describe as head butting! Or perhaps more accurately head ramming, where he wedges himself in to the base of my uterus at the front. I can gently feel the hard head shape there with my hand over my lower abdomen, and he quite happily plonks himself there for as long as he likes.

The books dont talk about this kind of thing. Sound familiar to anyone?

My dd was breech and often I looked like I had a third boob as she would put her feet towards my spine and stretch out with her head making a head shaped bump sticking out at the top. Could be bloody painful sometimes! Midwife said it was because I'm a short-arse and she didn't have much room in there.
