Hi ladies,

I’ve just found out I’m 4 weeks pregnant after having a MC in July. I’m having light cramps that feels like AF is arriving! I should be on my period now though. Is this normal? Am I thinking too much into this because of my lossSad I have all the usual pregnancy symptoms, sore boobs, feeling nauseous, light headed etc...

I think I just have anxiety because of last time, it’s so hard to relax and be happy as I’m worrying about every cramp.

I’m also 4 weeks and been having AF like cramps on and off. I’ve been assured by many people that it’s normal but it does make you worry. As long as there is no bleeding along with it, you’re good x

I see so many people with the same thing! Think I’m just freaking out due to my miscarriage only being 2 months ago. No bleeding so I do feel slightly hopeful 💖

It's absolutely normal for early pregnancy and I'm having them too! Hope you dont worry too much. Congratulations x

Thanks! They’re so uncomfortable, no one ever tells you about this side of pregnancy. Just hope it settles down soon

I was just about to post this exact same question. I'm 5+1 today and since before AF was due (10 days ago now) I've had the feeling I'm about to come on. It's really unsettling, especially after MC. Glad I'm not the only one... just want to make it to 12-weeks so I can start to enjoy this pregnancy a bit and not worry myself silly that it'll end before 8 weeks again.

I had awful cramps at 4-5 weeks! No one ever told me about that side of pregnancy 🙈

Mother2princess · 28/09/2020 20:37

It can be normal long as your not in mega pain

ShalomToYouJackie · 28/09/2020 20:39

Very normal, I'm 8+5 and still getting the odd cramp like AF is arriving any minute

autumnredhead · 28/09/2020 20:44

Totally normal! I had the same thing

danni0509 · 28/09/2020 20:46

Yes deffo normal, I thought I was coming on my period every day with the period like cramps x

GG2707 · 04/10/2020 17:57

So thankful I have seen this! I am 4 weeks and I am having cramps exactly the same. Not to painful but it does make you worry like you say! Thank you everyone and good luck x

autumnredhead · 04/10/2020 19:18

@GG2707 - I had the same when I was pregnant, kept feeling I was going to 'come on' but it's normal x

CMAYF11 · 04/10/2020 19:42

I had cramps around 4/5 weeks too. The nurse I spoke to said it was normal.

SamK93 · 05/10/2020 18:22

Hi ladies! I had these cramps around 4-6 weeks too, totally normal it's just the implantation process etc. I'm now 36 weeks and fed up 😂

charisann93 · 05/10/2020 18:34

So glad I've come across this post! I'm 5+1 and have been having mild period like pains.. it's been worrying me! I googled a bit though, and came across it being normal! All this anxiety is crazy! Confused

ScottishLassie91 · 05/10/2020 22:27

Congrars OP 🥳
I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and still get them sporadically. I spoke to my GP and they've said as long as they are not much more painful than what your normal cramps would be and werent accompanied by bleeding, it's all completely normal x
