Hi all. I am new to mumsnet, I’ve read a few threads on here before but never posted myself. Me and my husband are TTC. It’s been about 10months. My periods are normally very very regular ( every 28 days on the dot ) My current period is 13 days late, I have also been struggling with major headaches and nausea and the occasional pain in my abdomen. I took a pregnancy test on the day my period was due and thought I saw a faint positive, although it was very faint so I thought I would wait and try again. I’ve taken 5/6 tests since which have all been negative. Has this happened to any of you? I don’t know who to speak to about what’s happening, when I speak to my husband he gets excited and gets his hopes up that we are expecting and I don’t want to talk to anybody else I know. I just want to know what’s happening. If I’m not pregnant then that’s fine but my periods are never late so could something else be wrong?? Help...

Hi I’m currently going through the same thing. We’ve been TTC for 2 years and then experienced a MMC at 10 weeks in June. We tried conceiving again straight away and I’m now 5 days late but all test are negative. I’m so confused. Did you manage to get anywhere with you doctor?

It's very frustrating OP but even women with very regular cycles can skip a period. It can be caused by stress -TTC is unexpectedly stressful. I hope you get some resolution soon!
