Mamas and Papas Delivery

Anyone else struggling with deliveries from Mamas and Papas, we ordered our furniture and Moses basket back in June for delivery the end of September, I got an email last week to say the furniture set won't be coming until mid of October due to supplier issues, which I understand, so I asked to confirm I'd still be getting the Moses basket as I need something for baby to sleep in, they have now put this back until the middle of October but said the furniture isn't coming and they will confirm another date for this!!! So stressed that baby will arrive mid November and I'll have no furniture, thankgod I went somewhere else for the travel system!!

I have the exact same problem with both my bedside crib which should have come 2 weeks ago and still hasn’t arrived and my nursery furniture should’ve come on Monday and they’ve written to say they’re putting it back til 2nd November - that’s after my due date! I’ve emailed them and tried to call with no luck - VERY annoying!

I’m waiting on a delivery from them too. I ordered our bedside crib and still waiting on any further info regarding our delivery! Was supposed to be the beginning of this week but it’s been put back.
It’s a stress that none of us need! I think if they don’t have the stock they shouldn’t sell it!

When ordering our furniture in store they gave us a delivery date. Delivery date came & no furniture. Phoned them & they claimed they tried to email us telling us the delivery date had to be changed because of a supplier issue. I think it was around 2 or 3 weeks later we received it. There customer service department is murder to get a hold of by phone!

I’ve had some furniture delivered from there and it was quite a wait but it’s arrived and it’s beautiful.
Another delivery with my car seat/base And some other bits came later on but there was an item missing but said it has been delivered I called and called and no response and was just on hold forever ended up going in to store to sort out the problem

Just as a tip - I complained on their Instagram post today and they rang me within a couple of hours (after I’ve spent weeks trying to get through to them) so do give that a try!
I ended up having to cancel my nursery furniture order but apparently my bedside crib should arrive this week. The customer service lady really rattled my cage by saying they were a completely contactable company 🙄 the most annoying thing was that the post I complained on was from today and it was advertising the bloody nursery furniture that I ordered that they can’t stock!!
We’ve ordered with John Lewis now - the furniture was just as nice, my particular range was slightly cheaper and it’ll arrive on Wednesday

I had this problem around 12-18 months ago. I must have got 4 or 5 dates for delivery pushed back from them.

In the end, I complained and they sent me a £50 voucher.

It's such a joke and they have the cheek to boast about winning awards on their Facebook page. We ordered it all in store back in June and paid upfront so don't think I can cancel it that easy. We'll have to wait and see in a few week what we receive, if it doesn't arrive I'll be going in store to complain!!! Thanks for all you replies Smile

I've had the same problem, was meant to have something delivered on Thursday 24th September after ordering it in JULY, didn't come. So I rang the store Friday and they said on their system it said it should have been delivered on Thursday and then it said it was unavailable until NOVEMBER! so got to wait another 6 weeks now after already waiting 2 months

@Kijaji please complain publicly on their social media posts, they get in touch with you and sort the problem VERY quickly!

We ended up getting a £30 voucher as an apology. We have since had an issue with a damaged drawer on the changing unit. Currently awaiting the second replacement one...

I ordered a car seat base from them several weeks ago. Its meant to be delivered before the end of September, but I havent heard anything yet. I wanted to support a "bricks and mortar" store as there are so few left. However, they make it difficult when all the online shops have goods in stock for fast delivery!

Our travel system came after months and all in separate pieces over about a week and a half random bits kept showing up 😂 Lucky we ordered with lots of time otherwise we would have been screwed!
