Hi lovely's hope everyone is well.
So. Im currently 26weeks pregnant with my 1st, and working full time at my boyfriends mums cafe. (She has 2) i'm due on the 1st of jan!

Problem is i am the only member of staff there is and things are getting really really hard as i am constantly on my feet for 7/8hrs a day, no breaks unless it gets quiet and its having such an effect on my body and mental health as i'm relied on for EVERYTHING.

I feel like i cant ask to put my days down as there is no one else to cover me during those days & they make it pretty clear there not employing anyone else.. i am KNACKERED. theres about 6 members of staff working at the other cafe but they only stay there and they cannot work at the cafe i'm at as they all have there set shifts/hours up there. But my day off's are always messed about and i never have 2 days off together. Its making me so unhappy because of the effect its having on me, i cant physically bring myself to do anything on my days off as i'm too bloody exhausted.

So i need help with my mat leave date, seen as my job is pretty demanding and December is a busy month in hospitality & a lot harder than other months I Don't know weather to stop before that starts which would make me 35 going 36weeks? PLS HELPPP?? also note we are shut from 24th December till 28th which i obv wouldn't be working then anyway..

How busy it is and lack of staff is not your problem. It's not fair of them to put that pressure on you!
They need to hire someone to help you it's so bad they're making you work on your feet all day while heavily pregnant you poor thing
