How much fluid to suspect waters might be leaking?

Sorry, tmi! I've had a couple of 'leaks' today at almost 39w - not much fluid at all but more than I'd expect from discharge. It's also not the right consistency for discharge, so I think it's either a bit of wee or amniotic fluid. But there really isn't much at all, nowhere near enough to soak through a panty liner. It doesn't seem to smell of anything and looks clearish as far as I can tell. Really don't want to make the trip down to the hospital for them to see the amount and be like that's just a tiny bit of wee 🙈

I had the same when I was 37 weeks + 3, wasn't very much liquid at all so wasn't sure if it was just a bit of wee! Had slight leaking on 3 or 4 occasions over a couple of hours, phoned the labour ward and they said to come in as it could be my waters breaking. Presumed it was just my bladder/discharge and they would just send me home but it turns out it was my waters! My 'hind waters' had broken which results in gradual leaking rather than a gush. I think it means the waters leak from around the baby's shoulders instead so it's more gradual. Had my son around 3 hours via elective section. My first baby came at 40+5 so I really wasn't expecting it! I would definitely call the hospital!

I also had hind waters go, they constantly trickle. Definitely go see the midwife, after mine went with no contractions I ended up being induced after 24 Hours, as there’s a risk of infection. I ended up getting an infection still, so please go get it checked.

Smell it. If it smells like hay, it’s your waters
