Postive test 8 days before period.

Hello, I'm sorry to jump on here but wondering if anyone can help? I had a clearblue postive test, faint but strong enough to see straight away. Now my period was due yesterday my test are practically negative! I havent had any bleeding or anything? Could this be a hook effect? Or a chemcial pregnancy?

Unfortunately sounds like it could be a chemical pregnancy. Fingers crossed its not though.

Hook effect happens much later and with very high levels of HCG.

Possibly a faulty test or CP I'm afraid.
