I think the title explains it but.. I only got my Mat B1 form last week and I haven't posted it because of the postal strike. My HR are based in London. I am 25 weeks this Friday and understand that the MAT B1 has to be with HR 15 weeks before my EDD. I have spoken to HR and they have told me to hold onto it, but I am worried that they won't pay me.. bloody postal strike.. does anyone have any advice? My dh has suggested me scanning it and emailing it to HR would they accept it?

I would say, if its a good reputable company and they have told you to hang on to it, I wouldn't worry - just send it when you can. I would probably fax or scan a copy just to cover yourself but I wouldn't worry about it.

Why would they enforce this so rigidly in the middle of a postal strike? I would scan/fax as proof that you have it and then the paper copy on when the strike is finished.
