Chinese takeaway when pregnant?

Hi all! Currently 19+2 weeks pregnant.

I've ordered chips and curry sauce and spicy chilli chicken from my local Chinese and currently waiting for it to arrive.

Is Chinese food safe during pregnancy? I heard about the msg that they use to enhance the food.

Anybody else know much about if it's safe?

Many thanks Grin

Chinese food is safe to eat.

Yes its safe. Your bowels might not thank you tomorrow though! Or you might get raging heartburn from the spice

Absolutely safe to eat, however bean sprouts aren’t recommended during pregnancy.

Bean sprouts are fine if cooked. You are only warned against eating raw sprouted seeds

Yes, of course - enjoy!
