Hey everyone,

Majorly looking for some advice as I am going out my mind with stress.

I’m 30 weeks today and currently in a shared rented house in London and also in the middle of buying a house with my partner in Surrey. What with all the Covid going ons our house has been hugely delayed. We’re currently looking at hopefully being in for November with my due date being 2nd December.

My worry is that I’m really not comfortable being in my shared house right now, so looking at moving in with my sister til our house is ready. She lives 1hr and 30 mins from London. My main issue is I don’t know what to do re midwife/hospitals. I won’t register myself as living at my sisters address as it will only be temporary but I’m not sure what to do with pregnancy care. I have midwife apps booked in London which I can travel up for, and did speak to my midwife re changing hospitals when I last saw her as I will need to change when we are in our house outside of London anyway as I’m currently registered at a hospital in central London.

Has anyone got any advice or been through anything similar? I know 10 weeks til my due date is a long time, I just have in the back of my mind the fact that my mum had all 3 children prematurely ranging from 10-2 weeks early.

I hope this makes sense and sorry for the rambling.....!!!!

Contact your sisters GP and ask foe temporary registration incase of emergency and explain the situation. Its standard practice if you get ill while on holiday. Then you can contact the local midwife team too
