Hello, does any one have any recommendations on biodegradable nappies? We are planning to do reuseables but want to mix it up with eco disposables for when we're away and when the baby is first born etc but so many to choose from and I find you can't beat actual experience!! So come on give me your reviews!!
Thanks!

I liked Moltex for DS, because they are very soft. But friends who used them with their DCs have said they leak. Never did for us though. I never composted them properly, but drew some eco-comfort from their obviously unbleached status!

I've used Nature Baby since my DS was born he's now almost 2, and they've rarely leaked, and he has rarely had nappy rash, so would definitely recommend.

I used cloth with my dd's but Nature Baby for trips away etc and then ended up full time in Nature Baby with dd2 when she turned 2 . I have been very happy with them and they don't smell funny like Pampers.

Where did you get Nature Baby nappies from?
Thanks for the tips!

I like Bambo Nature - I got them from Naturebotts. Also cheaper than Moltex, but still have won various green/eco awards.

Moltex have changed their design to have less elastication in order to be more green - but obviously leak more as a result.

You can get nature baby from Waitrose, Boots or Sainsbury's.

Bigger Co-ops also sell Nature Baby.

We used Nature Baby on ds1 and ds2 when they were little, and found them really good.
We now use Moltex on ds2, simply because the local eco-shop has started stocking them. We've been pleased with them; they've leaked very occasionally overnight if the nappy is particularly wet, but I love their green-ness!

We are using nature baby for our dd and we love them! they look and feel great and rarely leak apart from v explosive nappie fills!
You can also get them in bigger tesco stores!
their nappy bags are also brilliant and don't have that nasty false smell to them

i use Nature Baby which are 70% degradeable. they leaked a bit when DS was in newborns, but hold up well otherwise, and stand up to overnight use with him now, and he nearly 16mths.
