Spotting again at 8 weeks

Hi, hoping someone will be able to share a similar story either positive or negative. I had a moderately heavy bleed at 6 Weeks, scan showed heartbeat but red spotting continued. Another scan at 7+2 showed heartbeat again and bleeding seemed to settle. However, for the last couple of days my nausea seems better in the evenings when it was previously, relentlessly, 24/7. I’m now 8 weeks and this evening have had some bright red bleeding again... just when I’m wiping but it’s not just spots if that makes sense. I’m thinking I’ll need another scan but my toddler has just tested positive for covid so I expect they won’t have me in for a couple of weeks ☹️ So any stories would be useful!

Hi there, similar story. Had spotting around 7 weeks and scan showed baby with heartbeat. It continued, slightly worse actually, they scanned me again the next week and growth was perfect, heartbeat seen again. Then 2 weeks later had private scan (it had already been booked) and saw another healthy growing baby with strong heartbeat! Spotting then stopped. I've since had 12 week scan, again perfect! I'm now almost 16 weeks and starting to feel flutters! Easy to say but please remain positive if you can, best of luck x

I had spotting & reduction of symptoms (nausea was the main one) at 8 weeks. 33 weeks later, a healthy 8lb8oz boy.

I also had a loss at 7 weeks & there was pain (like bad period pains) with the bleeding.

If you are worried always get it checked though x

Thanks @hellymum21 and @KsMumma good to hear positive stories. It’s just such a rollercoaster!

I had bleeding at 6, 8, 10 & 12 weeks with DS, it was so so stressful. He's 9 now and fast asleep in bed.
