When should you book first mw appt?

I can't remember from ds1 and don't want to ask receptionist at surgery as don't really want her to be the first to know apart from dh and myself!!

(Of course annonymous parenting forum doesn't count!)

I just made a doc's appt as normal, and then they do all the booking in for you. Mind you, I still had to go and ask receptionist to book scan etc and ask about blood tests! Congratulations, btw.

Just remembered I'm seeing doc for something else on Friday, I'll mention it to him then.
