9 weeks with heavy bleeding

So I'm 9 weeks and I'm experiencing a lot of heavy bleeding, maybe with clots but I'm not sure coz everything is emptying out as soon as I get to the loo...... sorry to be gross.
I've been getting cramping too so I'm really worried that this is now ' Game Over'
I do have a scan booked for later on this morning, funnily enough to check to see if it is growing 🤦‍♂️
I'm not sure what to do or think right now, all I know is that it's like a heavy period but I'm not filling a pad just get 'gushes' each time I use the loo.
Has this happened to anyone else where things have been ok with the baby?!
I know I'm probably clutching at straws now xx

Are you in lot of pain? If so I would ring 111

I'm so sorry you're going through this DaffodilThanks

I had heavy bleeding from 9 weeks to 15 weeks. It went from light to heavy, old blood to fresh blood, clots the size of my hand. I spent a lot of time getting checked at the hospital after a big bleed and each time baby seemed fine. Turned out I had a subchoronic haematoma, which is just essentially bruising on the uterus. It was my due date yesterday and I can confirm that baby is still happily tucked away in there, happy as anything and the bleeding has had no effect on their development throughout. I hope your scan goes well, it's a difficult thing to go through and so much easier to say than do, but keep your positive thoughts, and look after yourself

@cultkid @Ajahd
I've had cramping on and off since around 7pm last night (we were travelling from Liverpool back home in the south)
Each time we stopped the bleeding got heavier and then eventually the cramping started.
It's not constant so I'm not sure if that's a blessing, been having a lot of red blood mixed with mucus and a lot of dark red blood that doesn't kinda look like tissue, but is thicker with mucus in nature.
Naturally I've been pooping it all night, I'm supposed to be be going to work this morning but I'm not sure it's such a wise idea considering I look like utter shite from crying and my 'need' to go to the loo so often coz it feels like I'm about to flood everywhere if I don't.
( my kids think it's from my campervan breaking down again, actually that's enough to make anyone cry lol)
I'm still holding on that tiny bit of hope that it's something weird going on and the baby is still doing well in there x

Sorry you are going through this OP, it is truly terrifying. Please don't go to work if you can avoid it, regardless of the outcome it is better for you to rest and be around home comforts. Hopefully the scan this morning can let you know either way.

I'm 11 weeks and had a big red bleed on Saturday (soaking through to the sheets, dripping into the toilet) and had a scan yesterday and everything was looking good and no obvious reason for the bleed. Bleeding isn't always bad news, I read somewhere it happens to 25-40% of pregnancies, and of those 50% continue. Good luck and sending virtual hugs x

Sending you strength xx

CrazyFooLady · 22/09/2020 09:33

Thank u everyone......... the cramping has stopped now and the bleeding has sort of calmed down.
For whatever reason it isn't going on the pad which I find odd.... just gushes into the toilet whenever I go.
I'm hoping for a better outcome than what I'm thinking, but I will keep u all updated xx

Lots of love to you, keep us posted xx

Ajahd · 22/09/2020 10:56

Please do lovely. I had cramps throughout aswell, so I always thought the worst. I even remember the day before my first bleed, telling my husband that I felt like I was about to come on my period. Hope you're okay

CrazyFooLady · 22/09/2020 13:34

Unfortunately I've lost the baby, I've now got to have it medically removed tomorrow.
Thank u for all the love and support xx
