Good Evening all,

I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and slightly concerned. I felt very nauseous in Week 8 - 9.5 Weeks, then it just disappeared overnight (the day after my booking in app).

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have a private Harmony Scan on the 30th (11 weeks 2 Days) but driving myself insane with worry.

Thanks all.

Symptoms can come and go. So I wouldn’t panic straight away.

I’m 7+5 and have had nausea since 5 weeks but over this weekend it lessened and yesterday afternoon was the best I’ve felt however last night and today it’s progressed into actual vomiting. So take it while you can get it they make a very sudden return or better yet maybe that’s your symptoms starting to ease off.
If you are worried contact your midwife.

I didnt have any symptoms at all really. My breasts were sore for the first few weeks but then I was left wondering if everything was ok. I had scans at 7/12/16/20 weeks and really shocked everytime everything was ok. Now 26 weeks and this kid is beating me up from the inside 24/7. It's such a relief when you can feel them though.

Unless you have pain or bleeding everything is most likely fine.

Don’t panic. You’ll likely have really good days so I encourage you to eat well on those days.

The placenta starts doing more of the work around that time, so symptoms will come and go, as others have said.

Anne1987 · 21/09/2020 17:55

Thank you for your words of advice/reassurance.

My midwife is not overly concerned as I have no pain or bleeding. I will try and make the most of the appetite :)

My rational head knows that whatever is to be, will be. There is little I can do, except look after myself and follow advice.

Thanks again!

Mine also stopped at 9ish weeks - since I've had a couple of days feeling nauseous and odd turns, but nothing like it was! When I had my booking in appt. (at 11 weeks!) I mentioned it and she asked if I still had tender breasts - I did (do) and she said all was fine as not everything had gone and I wasn't experiencing bleeding!

peachypetite · 21/09/2020 20:10

I had really good days around then too and thought I’d made a recovery from all the nausea, it carried on until week 16

sophi1207 · 21/09/2020 21:18

My sickness seemed to go away around 9 weeks and then came back at 10 weeks and is now going away again at 11+5. You’ll probably find the same kind of thing 😊

Bumble84 · 21/09/2020 21:52

I was exactly the same! Literally overnight all my nausea and that metallic taste just went. I read all about symptoms coming and going and I got so worked up because mine just went! They never came back either. I’m now 27 weeks and all going well. I worried so much in first trimester about miscarriage so I completely understand your fears x

Anne1987 · 22/09/2020 08:38

Thank you so much. I am hoping the placenta taking over is the reason and not anything else.

The feeling of nausea was worse than being actually sick, so if it doesn't come back - that would be a bonus :)

@anne1987 I'm similar to you , my nausea completely vanished when I was 7 weeks 5 days and I'm now 8 weeks 6 days and it's yet to come back. Quite concerning, but I'm trying not to let it worry me too much. Think I'll be quite nervous going to me 12 weeks scan though!

Anne1987 · 23/09/2020 15:38

@Welliedays me too. We just need to concentrate on looking after ourselves and hopefully, it is all OK. Ultimately it is out of hands.

Wishing you the best for your pregnancy.

Today my worse fears were true. It was a missed misscarriage - no real visible embyro and a sac the size of 8 weeks (I am 11+2) today.

My heart is 💔 but I wanted to thank you all for the support and wish you the best in your pregnancies.

I'm so sorry, I had a similar experience in April and it has been ups and downs since.

There's not a lot of use I can contribute but I just wanted to say I hope you're OK and can take some time just to process and grieve your loss. I, too, had a feeling that MC was the case or that something may be wrong as I felt different - but I did then have some cramping and bleeding at 11 weeks and when I was scanned growth had stopped at around 8 weeks.

Thinking of you.

Bumble84 · 01/10/2020 00:38

I’m so sorry op, that’s really awful for you. Take time to go through any and all emotions that you need to and take care of yourself x
