Please help I’m so confused ... not really sure how far along I am as I have multiple apps telling totally different things!

First day of last period 03/08
Ovulated 20/08

Honestly feel so daft needing to ask this! Does anyone know what week this would make me according to the NHS?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

7 weeks.

lucymagoo · 21/09/2020 13:41

It's done off the first day of your last period Smile

Cafeaulait27 · 21/09/2020 13:46

You’ll be due 12th May I think! I used the nhs website, first day of my last period was second of August. Our dates are so close!!

DontFadeAway · 21/09/2020 13:50

Your last period was 4 days ahead of mine, and I'm currently 6w+3 so I make you 7w today? :) congrats xx

HotDiggidy2017 · 21/09/2020 14:17

Cafeaulait and DontFadeAway, congratulation to you both. That’s mad that we’re all so close!

Are you getting many symptoms yet? Sore boobs seems to be my only one so far - dreading the morning sickness kicking in!

You ovulated a bit later in your cycle, if you had gone on to have a period it would have been a 32 day cycle (18 days pre-ovulatory, 14 days post-ovulatory). As it's not the "standard" 28 day cycle that all the standard calculations use, you'll actually be a bit less than 7 weeks, you'll be due 14th May and are currently 6 weeks 3 days pregnant.

Hatscats · 21/09/2020 15:35

Midwife will use first day of last period, they use this date until 12 week scan, then they’ll recalculate your date. I ovulated day 20 and was put back 6 days.
Doesn’t really matter that much anyway, I’m fully aware my due period is anytime between now (36 weeks) and 42 weeks 😂

DontFadeAway · 21/09/2020 17:59

So close! My main symptoms so far have been tiredness, but yesterday was like something switched and the nausea won't go away now 😭 I woke up feeling sick and have done most of the day, I can only stomach dry carbs like toast, and the thought of certain things (scrambled egg which I normally love) makes me want to puke! I haven't actually been sick, but I feel pretty close to it.

Hope you're all well xx

HotDiggidy2017 · 21/09/2020 19:33

@PlanBea that’s exactly what my Natural Cycles app says too! Very impressed you can work that out, I was just getting lots of different numbers when I tried 😂

@DontFadeAway sorry to hear the nausea kicked in, Is this your first?

@HotDiggidy2017 everything assumes a 28 day cycle which is "average" but can mean your dates can be out by a week or so either way. Particularly if you get an early scan it can be worrying if you think it should be 6 weeks and it's 5 (not much is visible at 5) - leads to lots of worry!

The midwives will likely use your last period until your dating scan anyway, but if you know you're a few days behind where the standard calculation says there isn't a panic when they measure you "smaller"!

Google search pregnancy due date calculator, try them all! I like calculator.net version as there are more variables you play with.
