Dates...please help!

Hi Ladies,

I have irregular cycles, sometimes 30 days and others up to 50. LMP was 28th July and peak fertility on clearblue OPK was not until 6th September (CD40).

Got a VVFL on FRER on 16th of September , which has progressed to a definite BFP on FRER and Clearblue tests so I am actually pregnant which I cant believe!

I am having difficulty figuring out how far along I am, going by my LMP I should be over 9 weeks but surely when I didnt get a BFp until this week which would be consistent with the positive OPK 2 weeks ago, surely I cant be!

Can anyone shed any light on this? First BFP after 10 months TTC so am a bag of (confused) nerves, praying it progresses

Online due date calculator. U can put in the day you conceived if you know that date? Instead of LMP? X

@MrsMac90 let us know how far you are when you find out!! 😁 I am 4+6 we might be close together x

In cases this like you would usually add 2 weeks on to the ovulation date (on average women ovulate 2 weeks after period), so agree with pp that you would be about 4 week.

@plixy @upsydaisyy Thank you so much Ladies, i wasn't sure but I knew calculations from my LMP couldn't be right! I found a calculator that works from conception and it agrees and says 4 weeks!

@ohdearymemumof3 Congratulations! I am going to book an early viability scan in 2 weeks to hopefully confirm dates!

@MrsMac90 @ohdearymemumof3 I'm also 4 weeks or just over! Like you MrsMac my cycles were long and silly so my last period date cannot be trusted and I'm using my ovulation date instead

@TheDaydreamBelievers @MrsMac90 Congratulations! Im 5 weeks today! Due 25th May but that will probably change when I have the dating scan haha x

Yeah I have my appointment booked as well on 21st October and also got.my 12week scan booked in for November. Ive booked an 8week scan though as well xx

Oh really!! I have to wait until my midwife app then my scan date will come in the post a week or so later x

Its mad how different it is depending where you are x

@ohdearymemumof3 If I wait on my public appointment I wouldn't be scanned until 12 (or sometimes 14 ) weeks, I found a company that do early scans from 6 weeks and allow one guest as I want DH with me for the first one and with Covid restrictions he won't be able to come to hospital appointments/scans!

@ScottishLassie91 I know! Its going to feel like forever until scan day too 😪..xx
