Anterior placenta

Hi ladies im currently 19+4 days pregnant with a little boy 💙
Pregnancy seems to be going well accept an anterior placenta which I found out about on our private gender scan.

Im currenrly struggling with anxiety as I cant feel him move at all yet im sure I had a bubble feeling once or twice a week ago and one movement where it felt like a fish swimming.

Since then I've been concentrating so much to feel somthing and I cant.

When did you feel baby move?
What did it feel like?

Thank you x

Hey im 21+3 and i have an anterior placenta too
From about 18+3 I thought i felt something, felt like i was being tickled from the inside or a heart palpitation but in my stomach. Felt it again a few days later but i still wasn't sure if it was movement or not

I seen the consultant after my 20 week scan and they asked if I felt movement yet and i said i wasn't sure and she just said its fine give it another month, few days later I felt a really hard kick and now i feel movement everyday - not often and regular but enough to know its actually her moving around - it feels anything from a little tap, a little fishy floating around to a thud like something is being dropped inside me
Its really strange!
I wouldnt worry just yet, ive been told so many times by professionals to give it till 24 weeks due to placenta position

Just to reassure I’m nearly 26 weeks with an anterior and only felt it move for the first time a few days ago! And even then it is faint - I have to really focus. So I wouldn’t panic yet - worrying as it is.

I had one and didn't feel movements until 23/24 weeks. I'll leave this link below x

(Just to add I did all the going to triage, getting. Checked by midwife etc...baby is fine and active...it’s just me a long time to feel it!)

I have an anterior placenta: I actually got quite stressed out by conflicting advice on it from different midwives and was in at 23 weeks, 26 weeks and 27.5 weeks with concerns about movement... (always go if you're worried - they don't mind and better to be safe :-) )
From 28 weeks onwards I've had regular movement that's very easy to feel and identifiable as baby (before that I honestly wasnt always sure if it was gas or a muscle twitch - it was often like being flicked gently from the inside) - now 31 weeks and still no "pattern" as such but movements are generally strong, regular and kind of ... "swishy"
