Ramzi theory anyone? 7 weeks scan

So i had scan today fetal age is 6w 2d and by LMP i m 7w 3d. Anyone knows ramzi theory here?
I have no gender preferences but just curious to know!! 🙈🤞

ooo congrats! thats a good scan :) sorry don't know answer to your question! encouraged to hear you got a good scan via abdominal at 7wk, i want to go for early scan one but really dont fancy a TVS - altho given whats gonna be happening down there at some point it really shouldnt bother me hah.

I’ve just got lost on google! I’ve never heard of this theory before.

Oh & I are currently trying to figure out which part is the babies head so we can have a hope in hell of guessing 😅

@leftitlate37 this is my first pregnancy and I'm finding out its a series of indignities! In saying that, I've had two TSV scans and I feel like it has to be better than someone pressing hard on your stomach while you're bursting to go to the toilet. Its not bad at all, honestly!

@Shinea I looked up Ramzi theory for my 6 week scan and I think whats impossible for me is seeing where the placenta will grow. I read that the placenta typically grows where the yolk sac is and i used that to guess mine might be a boy, but i can't tell where the yolk sac is on your scan. Congratulations on your little one :)

Ha I hadnt thought about needing a wee whilst someone presses hard...!! Maybe you r right and TVS wont be that bad after all! Sure I'll get over this kinda stuff eventually!

Mine just looks like a meerkat. I have no idea where the placenta will be, I’ve never got this far in a pregnancy before

We obviously have no preference, but it is fun trying to guess

@sansa87 I only have a vague idea of how this works. But I think that circle on the right is the yolk sac and I read the placenta grows near the yolk sac. If its an abdominal scan when you look at the photo, the right side is your right side, the left side is your left side. So if its abdominal, I would say the placenta will grow on the right and its boy. If its TSV, the sides are flipped. If you laid the pic on your belly facing out, that's where your baby was. So if its TSV, the yolk sac and therefore the placenta would be growing on the left and its a girl.
