I am not sure what to do. I can't find any NcT classes but someone recommended Blossom Antenatal anyone heard of them?

We’ve just booked a zoom hypnobirthing class with Wise Hippo.

Didn’t fancy NCT options - it was twice the price and didn’t have the location I wanted.

Blossom antenatal were really good for my friend. She was thinking 'what's the point of going to online antenatal classes' but she says they were amazing.

Tarahumara · 19/09/2020 15:57

I've also heard good things about Blossom.

Blossom antenatal sounds like a great idea. My used them for online antenatal during lockdown. She def gave them the thumbs up

@superbecky I've just done the antenatal course with 'The baby Academy' and it was excellent!
Very very informative and the lady was so lovely, she opens the online chat up for questions after every section so it still feels quite personal. Would really really recommend, it was £99 I think but so worth it!

@superbecky Another vote for The Baby Academy like @biscuit13 😊 we’ve just done the course too and it was great. You also get a recording of the whole session that you can go back and look at later 😊

biscuit13 · 19/09/2020 18:25

@RWK29 did you do todays one?? I found it so helpful! And im actually quite a bit more excited now!

Pea1984 · 19/09/2020 18:28

I agree, The Baby Academy course was excellent and worth the money.

RWK29 · 19/09/2020 18:42

@biscuit13 I didn’t do todays one as I work Saturdays so couldn’t actually make it to a live class 😊 we had done the 2 hour babycare free one a couple of weeks ago when I was off on annual leave and we loved it so I contacted them and they were able to just send me the recordings of the full day rather than me having to do the live class on a Saturday 😊 It was so helpful though!! So much practical information which was great 😊

Hi, I'm interested in this thread, just to say £385 for NCT zoom seems extortionate?? or is that me?

Is baby academy interactive?

biscuit13 · 19/09/2020 18:50

@user1469483380 so its a webinar in that you listen to the midwife go through all the information and then at the end of each section there is an online chat so everyone asks their questions and then the midwife goes through and answers them all.

user1469483380 · 19/09/2020 18:56

@biscuit13 ok, thanks!

biscuit13 · 19/09/2020 19:01

@user1469483380 plus it was only £99 and excellent

Pinktruffle · 20/09/2020 00:20

The Honest Mudwife classes are fantastic, really interactive. I tried The Baby Acadrmy and The Honest Mudwife free classes and much preferred The Honest Midwife as did DH, the classes are cheaper than The Baby Academy too which is always a bonus, they are £10 a session.
