Does anyone have a great clothes list?

I have no idea what I need to get and how many of each?!

Thanks

A good amount of vests/bodysuits because they wear them under everything and incase of poop explosions.. each to their own but I just put my babies in sleepsuits for the first 2 months of their life, they are warm and more practical, I wouldnt waste money on newborn cute outfits they grow too quick and they are so small and delicate you will just want them to be warm and comfy well that's how I feel anyway haha.. and dont bother buying baby shoes, yeah they look cute but they kick them off and pull them off when they get older.. my youngest is 9 months and shes never owned a pair of shoes yet 😂.. I know this wasn't a list but just some advise haha xx

Short sleeve vests
Long sleeved vest
Sleepsuits
Pramsuit (if a winter baby)

To be honest that is all you need in advance and for the first few months at least. The sleepsuits I couldn't recommend enough - they have built in scratch mittens and feet so no need for socks. Until you know size of baby I would just stick to newborn/up to 1 month size and get 5-7 of each.

Personal choice, but in the first few weeks they grow so quickly it isn't worth spending lots on expensive newborn clothes. The packs you can get from supermarkets are ideal and you can get some nice designs for very reasonable cost.

5-7 vests, same for sleep suits. Didn't bother with socks or outfits till 6 months. Grow out of them far too quick. No to shoes. Maybe a hat. A few bibs. Never bothered with mitts, just cut the nails! Ten or so muslins. Coat. Sell on to buy the next lot. There is a great in door car boot thing called mum to mum that sells all sorts cheap as anything but very good quality xx

Thanks ladies. Have bought quite a few packs of plain white vests that I managed to get in the next clearance.

Think I need to stock up on sleep suits definitely, only have one or two atm!

I've seen sainsburys have some lovely ones, so will make a trip xx

Sock ons are a must have in my opinion! And I agree with lots of sleep suits, that's all I'll be putting this little one in for first few months, learnt from experience that pretty outfits are not practical at all x
