CB Digital still only 2-3 weeks ☹️

Based on my LMP I’m 6+3 today however I know I didn’t ovulate until CD20 so think I’m likely closer to 5+2, so far everything has progressed fine, I got my 1-2 weeks on Monday 7th September, my 2-3 weeks on 12th September and just tested again hoping to see 3+ but it was still only 2-3 weeks.

Petrified this means something’s happened, I’ve not really had any symptoms either. I had an early miscarriage in June and this + the CB digital now have me petrified.

☹️😫☹️😫

Put the tests down. The cb week indicators are not reliable. Wait for a sign that something is wrong before worrying too much. It's going to be a long 9 months with this level of anxiety

Quail15 · 19/09/2020 06:22

It took me ages to get the 3+ weeks on a digital (6 weeks I think). I kept taking test due to 3 early MC in a row. I'm now 9 weeks and scans show all is well.

The test are unreliable as pp has said. You are pregnant with no signs of any issues. Congratulations x x

Hi @Pearsapiece, I was just looking for some reassurance from others who may have experienced similar, I’m aware it’s going to be a long 9 months due to being an anxious person but just trying to get some reassurance from others. Thanks.

@Quail15 Glad everything is going well for you! I’ll keep everything crossed that mines the same.. I know I’d be telling anyone else not to worry and that they’re unreliable too, need to take my own advice!!! X

Do not worry!!!!
You may have just been on the threshold the first time. They definitely measure strange amounts of hCG (I found this online as I used them to see if my hCG was coming down after a MMC) they are not an exact science.

Unless you have cramping and bleeding, the CB isn't likely to show a MC. If you're really concerned, please ring your doctor. Anxiety does nothing to help (believe me I'm on my 3rd and I'm anxious every day after my last losses) but you're probably better off using cheap line sticks and seeing it get darker/stay dark (still not exact but better than digi)Thanks

User43210 · 19/09/2020 06:31

I forgot to say, when I was testing to check it was going down, I went down to 2-3 weeks then back up to 3+ weeks and my blood tests didn't indicate a rise so definitely not reliable.

Cafeaulait27 · 19/09/2020 06:31

I agree with others - if you do want to test, cheap pink dye ones are best to see the line getting darker.

I’ve taken 6 tests and I’m 6 weeks haha! It is a worrying time in the early days, but best to accept that you can’t control it and if you aren’t bleeding most likely you’re fine xxx

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 06:32

Thank you @User43210 .. I really tried to avoid testing all the time which is why I saved my digi for a week after the last but it’s not done me anymore favours here!

You’re all absolutely right and tbh up until this morning I felt quite calm so it’s definitely shown me that testing isn’t good for me unless I get the result I think I want to see but you’re on very very true that aslong as there’s no pain or blood that there is no indicator of anything being wrong and that’s what I’ll tell myself - thank you ❤️

I've thought I was having a MMC this whole pregnancy, I've had multiple scans and all is fine, but I can't shift the thought I'm going to get another "I'm sorry" I've been too scared to tell most people even though I'm already well into my second trimester. Pregnancy and losses really mess you over. Unfortunately it is a waiting game, but unless you get a lighter, fading line and bleeding, there's no impending MC sign from a less sensitive digital (I can't wait until they're more reliable!) it could even be just not as strong a sample because of a shorter hold.

Happy for you OP!! Be happy for yourself!

I worried myself stupid doing this, got a bit obsessed with it, didn’t get a 3+ for ages and worried all my tests were faint. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and all is good so far. It’s a worrying time and if your anything like me you will find something else to worry about once you stop worrying about this! Good luck with your pregnancy.

LaMadrilena · 19/09/2020 08:35

I came on here to ask exactly the same! I'm 6 weeks today, and just got a 2-3w on the CB digital, after good progression on the cheapies. Had a chemical a month ago. Feeling a bit better now. Thanks everyone! And @Littlebee1990, I hope you're reassured too!

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 08:47

Thank you all so much you really have made me feel much better, just going to keep positive until our early scan in 2 weeks and leave the tests alone ❤️

If you think you are 5 weeks then that is 3 weeks to to CB test do 2-3 is fine. HCG levels vary hugely between women. I got 3+ at 6 weeks (actually 7 weeks after my LMP).
