Constant braxton Hicks at 31+ weeks

I’m currently 31+4 weeks and over the last week have had sooo many braxton Hicks... I wouldn’t say they are increasing but not decreasing. I’d probably count 20+ today alone. I can feel the baby extremely low down causing some pressure (not painful just uncomfortable).
Has anyone else had this? I’m not super concerned but it does feel like something has changed.

BH are super common third trimester and do ramp up the further along you are. I'm 38+5 and get them regularly every day and have done for weeks on end. Some are absolutely brutal others don't even phase me at all.
Unless it's to the point where you can't talk, walk etc, or you start bleeding I'd try and go with the flow.
Paracetamol and a hot water bottle or shower will help x

@lockdownpregnancy thank you for the reassurance! It’s deffo manageable atm so I wouldn’t complain necessarily. This is probably the new normal then by the sounds of it 😂 x

Pretty much @Lulubon enjoy! 🤪🤪🤪

I was the same, carried on every week and I'm 40 weeks tomorrow. I probably get less these days but they feel heavier/crampier now when they do happen. I just hope they mean a nice toned uterus and quicker labour 😂

@Reelaa oh god haha! Hopefully our bodies are just super efficient and it will be a breeze 😬

Hello, I am 23 weeks on Monday and pregnant with our 5th baby. I am having braxton hicks all day long. I didn't have this with the other pregnancies. I am guessing because this is my 5th pregnancy, my body feels things more earlier, am not sure. I'm not having the actual braxton hicks pain. It's my stomach going hard and quite literally like a contraction when your stomach gets tighter and tighter. I am just plodding along with it though. They're not too uncomfortable. Just surprised I am having them so early, as I remember having them with the last 4 after 30 plus weeks.

Haha hopefully! Only problem now is I have no sense that labour is near because every tightening is "just" a Braxton Hicks and I get no excitement that it could possibly be the start of labour 😂. Probably a good thing (until I don't actually realise I'm in labour haha). I got hopeful two weeks ago when they started feeling more crampy but that quickly became the new normal 🙄

I think I noticed mine between 23-25 weeks and then could have them every 5 minutes some hours. Definitely connected to worse days of bloating/constipation/needing a wee!
