1DPO - your symptoms?

What were your symptoms at 1DPO? 🤔

It's my first cycle TTC.. and I'm feeling really strange! I will explain 😅😂

  • sore boobs
  • cramping around pubic bone / bikini line area
  • cramping on the left hand side of my stomach
  • cracking headache
  • knackered
  • cramping as though AF is on the way 🤷‍♀️
  • heavy feeling in my uterus
  • feels like my stomach is just going to fall out 😂

Has anybody experienced the same..? I'll probably sound really silly saying this, but is there any chance this could be implantation? It's probably way to early so probably not!

Just looking to see if anyone has experienced similar? X

There are no possible symptoms at 1dpo OP, impantation at a minimum would be days and days away... it's still travelling down your fallopian tube at the moment...

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 19:49

@YouBringLightInToADarkPlace thank you, I didn't think so at all! I know it sounded silly when I wrote it but I thought why not 😅😂 maybe it's still ovulation pains! 💓

You can't implant until the earliest of 5/6dpo so your body wouldn't even know if the egg was or wasn't fertilised at 1dpo so I suspect you've got a case of symptom spotting that we all go through when ttc Grin which is where you literally notice every single twinge/symptom and generally drive yourself mad. Ttc can be a long journey, try not to stress too much and accept it might take a few cycles before it works Smile

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 20:17

@sarahc336 thank you :) I think it's probably still ovulation pains to be honest! Xx

OP posts:
sarahc336 · 18/09/2020 20:19

Yes it could be, ttc can be a mind field, we've all been there and will understand what your going through x

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 20:25

@sarahc336 yes it is isn't it! I think you soon begin to tune into your body and every little twinge! 😅🥰

Unless you ovulated earlier? X

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 21:06

@kim160790 ohh that's possible? I had EWCM last Saturday but negative OPK's.. but had my positive OPK's yesterday and no EWCM to be seen.. so confused!

mumsofboys · 18/09/2020 21:15

I actually was sick from 2dpo.

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 21:22

@mumsofboys oh that's really interesting! I've actually just spoken to my mum and she said from 1/2 DPO both her, my aunt and my gran were all really in tune and felt different as soon as 1/2 DPO! who knows. Xx

kim160790 · 18/09/2020 21:32

Same here I thought I ovulated midway and had positive opks but turns out I ovulated 1-2 weeks earlier so right after my period. So when it came to trying I had loads of symptoms because I was already pregnant and didn't know. Now Im currently 22+3 with DC#4 (and also my 1st girl 🎀) x

kim160790 · 18/09/2020 21:33

Also my CM has dried up completely which is unusual and I felt my cervix which was closed and felt like lips so should have known really lol x

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 21:49

@kim160790 wow that's amazing! Well congratulations 😍💓

I'm hoping somethings happening.. but we'll see! Xx

It's months since I DTD and I have all those symptoms OP, I'm putting it down to first full week back at work (huge secondary school) and needing to do a big poo.

I think you're over-thinking things, sorry. Won't bother explaining why 1dpo is too early, especially if you're so sure of the timings. So good to be so in tune with your body though, good luck ttc

FWIW I had morning sickness before my missed period but I put it down to bad pâté.

mumsofboys · 18/09/2020 21:51

@peppasworld I know when I ovulated too as was testing by my dates I ovulated that day. Defo in sync as the sickness didn't stop way into the second trimester.

Apparently boy sperm works faster 😐

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 21:57

@Ffsffsffsffsffs that did make me giggle! Yes I can see why they could just be every day symptoms! 😅💓

I'm definitely feeling 'odd' that's all I can really say.. we'll see what happens! 😌

OP posts:
peppasworld · 18/09/2020 22:00

@mumsofboys incredible how some people can be so in sync with their body! I'm hoping and thinking I'm one of those lucky few. I can't really describe it, but I'm just feeling very unusual 😂🤔 my stomach is cramping like mad!

Interesting about the boys sperm! Never knew that!

I'm not naive enough to believe that the egg has implanted or anything like that at this stage.. but somethings going on I think! perhaps still ovulating. X

BertieBotts · 18/09/2020 22:03

I think it's just because you're looking out for signs you'll tend to feel them when it's just normal body or ovulation stuff. Sorry that isn't very exciting! You have about a 20% chance of conception every month so it takes most people a few cycles to conceive, doesn't mean anything is wrong :)

bluemoon2468 · 18/09/2020 22:06

1DPO! Your body doesn't know you're pregnant until the egg implants, which would be around 6DPO at the very earliest! Infact you aren't even pregnant until that happens, you're just a person with a fertilised egg inside you which your body isn't even aware of. So honestly there is no way you or anyone including you or any members of your family could have actual pregnancy symptoms at that point. If you're looking for symptoms you'll find them, and if you end up getting pregnant it's easy to look back and say that you had symptoms early... but I think it's a case of if you're looking for something you'll find it.

I convinced myself I was pregnant the first month I TTC, I was reading into absolutely everything. I could have given you a whole list of symptoms I was experiencing. I wasn't pregnant! The month I actually fell pregnant I noticed nothing out of the ordinary until after I took a positive test. I know it's hard but try and chill out and think about something else and test in a couple of weeks 😊

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 22:06

@BertieBotts yes maybe you're right! I'm really quite chilled about it at the moment though, whatever happens happens! 💓🥰 I've been on birth control before this cycle, for 6 years so couldn't remember ovulating / how it felt! It's probably completely normal but it's all feeling new to me! 😅

OP posts:
peppasworld · 18/09/2020 22:10

@bluemoon2468 thank you - I know it was most likely not implantation, I wondered if maybe I ovulated early - or maybe even twice this month because I had EWCM last Saturday and Sunday morning but didn't get around to ovulation testing.. but tested yesterday and got positive OPK's so who knows.

😌💫

@peppasworld your hormone levels will be on the rise anyway after ovulation but 🤞🏼

I didn't believe it when I woke feeling sick.
My friend tried for years and said you craan even feel which side you ovulate. I had stabbing on my right and the gyno said the egg was released from the right!

Felt a bit hippy dippy being so in tune 🤣🤣

peppasworld · 18/09/2020 22:42

@mumsofboys I think it's incredible! It's a gift being so in tune with yourself 💓

I can feel the pain predominately on the left hand side, I think that's the side I'm ovulating from but it always sound silly saying it (typing it) 'out loud' 😂🤔 xx

OP posts:
mumsofboys · 19/09/2020 08:25

@peppasworld I felt the same. But when I was and the scan said right I was amazed 🤞🏼
