9 weeks symptoms

I'm 9 weeks pregnant today and I just feel like my boobs have stopped being painful (unless I prod them) and I'm a lot less nauseous over the last few days/ maybe a week?
I had an early scan at 7+3 and baby was fine with heartbeat.
I'm just concerned really as not sure if symptoms should last longer?! When did your symptoms subside?

TIA

Symptoms tend to peak at 9 weeks then can reduce off again as that's when the placenta starts to have an input. Google the hcg levels week by week and after 9'weeks they tail off again so possibly your placenta has kicked In and that's why your feeling betterZ I know no this pregnancy my symptoms defo got better around the 9/10 week mark x

Try not to worry. With my first the nausea disappeared around week 9. I think the boobs felt better before that. By 12 weeks I was pretty normal (just got thrush a lot and was constantly thirsty) I was just very lucky.

@sarahc336 @taraRoo thank you both so much, that's really reassuring Smile

How good were your dates? My symptoms slowed down at 8 weeks and we went for a scan and I was a week ahead. The slow down lasted for about 3 days before sickness came back.

Hope that makes sense?

When I was 9 weeks pregnant I thought the same thing. My nausea was going away and I was a bit concerned. It only lasted about a week and then the nausea has definitely come back, although a bit less consistently than before, I am now 11+2. I’m sure everything is fine!

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 19/09/2020 19:35

I could have written this ten weeks ago! All my symptoms disappeared abruptly at 8+4, only 4 days after seeing a heartbeat on a scan and I prepared myself for the worst but another scan at 11+2 showed everything was just fine! I'm now 18+4 and everything is textbook.

I’m 9 weeks too, and have been worried that my symptoms have lessened over the past few days. I’m still exhausted, and my boobs feel heavy and uncomfortable but I was really nauseous from 6 weeks, but that has eased a bit over the past couple of days. Last pregnancy I vomited numerous times a day until 20 or so weeks, so it feels so different. The 12 week scan just seems so far away, and it all seems so surreal! Hoping it’s just the placenta taking over, making things a bit easier on us?!

Glad I have found this thread! I am 9 weeks and all my symptons have gone. I didn't have any sickness before but had really sore boobs, constipation and tiredness and all 3 have just gone!
I had a private scan at 7+5 weeks and everything was fine then but I also still had symptons then 😬. Hoping all is okay for everyone else (and me!) ❤

adventurer2020 · 30/09/2020 17:22

Hi @emdh I ended up having a private scan at 9+6 and baby was there galloping away measuring 10 weeks exactly Smile so everyone was right for me! I've felt more or less fine since with just slight waves of nausea and sore boobs when prodding!
Hope you are ok - when is your 12 week scan, do you have a date yet?

@adventurer2020 My 12 week scan is 21st October, which seems a lifetime away, hopefully mine will be galloping too! 😂 i have never known time to move so slowly! You've made me feel so much better thank you. 🥰.
