Yup this was me! All I could eat were 'white' foods. Hang in there your appetite and desire for a varied diet will return! For me it wasn't until at least week 12. Its just something I had to grin and bear.

Don't worry, totally normal! I lived off toast, cereal and sausage rolls for weeks! It usually gets better towards end of first trimester/beginning of second.I found that after about 10 weeks I could tolerate a bit more variety then it steadily got better and better. By about 14/15 weeks I was totally back to normal with the odd exception that still turns my stomach!

MyCassiopiea · 18/09/2020 16:20

Normal. I threw up everything I ate until 25 weeks and lost a stone. My appetite came back in 3rd trimester where I woke every night for a snack!

Eat what you can when your body lets you and don't worry too much about it.

Eat what you can when you can. I lived off tinned fruit and rice crackers

I’m 7 + 2 and I’ve literally eaten toast and cheeseburgers for the last 2 weeks
Ice lollies, pear drops and ribena have been my saviours. Also I made up ice cubes with diluting juice to sook on. Really helps!

Bluejayway91 · 18/09/2020 20:02

Totally normal. I could only really eat bread, pasta, potatoes and cereal.

Baked potatoes and toast were the only things I had any desire to eat. The midwife said it was totally fine and to just eat what I could, ideally little and often. Very glad to be feeling so much better now and can eat nearly everything at 26 weeks, it's good to be reunited with vegetables! Smile Hope you feel a bit better before too long.

So normal OP! I just did a big Iceland shop and gone on with it. It was disheartening at times but honestly at 13 weeks all of a sudden I was eating an Indian takeaway and fresh fish things I could not stand for 12 weeks before. Accept the potato life - it maybe be for long but not forever.

Lots of sympathy and positivity.
