As title really. My previous couple of experiences of early pregnancy have always involved being at least moderately bunged up, but this time round (currently 6w) I've had diarrhoea for a fortnight. It's not severe at all, but I'm finding it somewhat alarming and on top of the nausea has me feeling pretty rough.

Hi lovely, just wanted to say I'm 6w today and for the last week and a half I've had diarrhoea every morning, only the once almost as soon as I wake up! Glad it's not just me xx

I think it can go either way to be honest. IBS can be aggravated so that could also be a thing. I have Crohn’s disease so was hoping for constipation- no such luck!

Thanks for the replies Smile hopefully it will abate over the coming weeks! I'm trying to think of things that are in some way materially different now to the last time I was in early pregnancy and the only thing I can think of is that there are one or two medications I now take long term that I didn't then. Neither of which have ever given me diarrhoea, but I suppose it's not impossible that the effect they have in some way affects my body's response to progesterone!

I'm 23 weeks (2nd baby) & seem to go from one to the other never just right! 😂 all hormones

I’m 19 weeks and I’m the same I’m afraid. It’s not as bad as it was a few weeks ago, I seem to just about be managing the constipation with a lot of all bran, prunes, fruit, veg and the occasional lactulose (disgusting stuff...). But every now and then I’ll have the worse day of diarrhoea! 🤷‍♀️
