Hi all,
I'm 23 weeks pregnant with an anterier placenta, was looking to get a 4D scan, does anyone know when the best time for this to be done would be given the position of placenta?
Tia

The private clinic I use says 4D scans are done between 28-34 weeks, check with your clinic but I’d imagine around the same

i had one done at 27+6 and the sonographer said it was great timing.

Around 28 weeks is good

I had one at 34 weeks. I was getting towards the end of being able to have one as baby was getting too big.

I think mine was around 31 weeks. The clinic I went to also had a window from 28 - 34 weeks to have this done. Our baby slept through the whole thing making it difficult for them to get any good images Grin

Ah i have booked one for 27 weeks now as I read on Google for anterier placenta it's best performed between 24-27 weeks as there is still that bit of space to get them to move about if need to.. I've gone with baby bond who offer the service from 24 weeks.. Would have liked to have waited longer but even at 16 weeks he was burying his face into my placenta so couldn't see him much lol
