Hey guys,

Should I be concerned? I weighed 114 pounds before pregnancy and then lost some weight and regained some back. I now weigh 112 pounds at 23 weeks. Also, I’m 5 ft so not very tall.

My midwife told me to track my weight gain from my lowest pregnancy weight rather than my prepregnancy weight. In total I was only a stone heavier than my prepregnancy weight, most of which I put on in the third trimester. If bump is growing as it should I wouldn't worry too much, I got my midwife to weigh me periodically too to check on my weight gain from appt to appt.

Start weight 133lb and nearly 39 weeks and weigh 176lb.
That's a massive weight gain but I've only gone up a dress size and I'm all baby so god knows!
Do speak with your MW and express your concern if you are worried xx

I’m 21 weeks and weigh slightly less than I did at my booking in at 8 weeks. I was worried but the 20 week scan shows bean is growing perfectly so I think I’ve just lost a bit of weight. I asked my consultant and he said keep an eye on it but he’s not worried at the moment, most weight is put on in 3rd trimester
