Pregnant after a miscarriage

Hey I'm 12+1 pregnant and had a miscarriage earlier this year. Currently I am bleeding- it's bright red. I had a emergency US today and they said the baby is fine. However every time I wipe (after the scan with was external) it seem to get worse. I did ask the lady who did the scan, the reason for the bleeding and she said they don't check unless it's more than a pad full. I'm really worried and want to know if anyone else has experienced this. When I had a miscarriage the same thing happened where I was bleeding lightly then it increased.

I would call your EPU or midwife tomorrow. You’ve had a scan which sounds like it went well. It can be normal to have a bleeding in the first trimester.

But it’s also very normal to need some extra reassurance because of your previous loss. X
