Is this normal?! Swollen and bruised

I'm 6+2 weeks and my legs and feet are swollen by the end of the day and my ribs and lower stomach feels bruised to touch. I have had 2 mmc before and I'm a type 1 diabetic so I might just be over worrying at this point but I couldn't find anything on google to help!

I found loads on google after putting 'swelling in legs and feet at 6months pregnant'.

This is one example which I thought was quite good:

The fact that you are type 1 diabetic means (I hope), that you are regularly monitored and I am sure you take care of yourself.

Please try and relax - easier said than done I know.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, you are two thirds of the way there.

All the very best.

Hey thanks for replying! Yeah I can find loads for later on in the pregnancy but I'm only 6 weeks

Oh sorry, I interpreted your opening post as saying you were six months + 2weeks!

Ask your doctor, it could be something to do with your diabetes.

Foot swelling is normal, especially if you are on your feet all day.
Not to sure about the bruised feeling. I got a bad back in the first four weeks... give the doctor a ring today to put your mind at ease.
