Hey,

Just had my 12 week scan this afternoon and was just looking for some advice. The NT measurement is 1.9mm - is this within normal range?

The sonographer didnt say a word and presume if there was any concern she would of said?

I also had the screening blood test done and was wondering how long it normally takes for the results?

Thank you in advance xx

Yeah thats a normal nuchal. Up to 3.5mm is the cut off for being referred. They definitely would tell you if there's a problem. My ds2 had a nuchal of 5.3mm.

I got my results by post within a few days

1.9 is definitely a good measurement, as someone else said 3.5 is the cut off for referral. Mine was 2.9 but still considered low, but my raised blood results along with nt meant I was flagged as high risk. Scan and bloods were done on a fri, dreaded phonecall came on the tue. We opted for a cvs but thankfully the results came back all clear! I think if you don't hear anything by the end of the week then assume you're low risk and you should get the letter within a week/10 days. Try not to worry about it, x

Mine was 1.9mm the other week and all was well 😊

Mine was 1.5mm and I got a low risk result in the post 3 days later

Mine was 2.2 and got a good low risk result, lower than my age related risk for all 3 trisomies.
