Best time for private well-being scan?

Hi, I'm looking to book a private scan so DH can come along and see baby (our trust still isn't allowing partners to scans). The clinic will let us book the specific one we want (that also includes finding out babys sex) from 16 weeks but wondered what peoples experiences are with best times to go - the date I'm thinking of booking I would be 16+4, would this be worth it? Is baby developed enough to do a good well-being scan and accurate sexing? I know I've got my 20 week full anomaly scan but just want this one to be worth it too as we've had a worrying start and I'm hoping this will fill the gap before that next nhs scan and help with my anxiety!
Would love to hear peoples experiences, x

I had a really nice clear scan at 14 weeks, saw the baby moving around and everything, so I’d imagine you’d get the same at 16 weeks :) 20 week one was great as well.
My next one was 26 weeks, the actual scan was lovely to see but the picture was a bit rubbish because the baby was a bit too big and blurry 😂 16 weeks sounds like a great time to go.

I had a private one at 10 weeks and 16 weeks to help break the time up between NHS scans but I've had several losses included one found at the 12 week scan so was feeling particularly stressed out 🤣

I had a private scan at 16+5 so me and my partner could find out the gender together. We also recently had a 4d scan at 28+3 so my partner got a chance to see him again and I loved seeing his little features in 4d!

We had our private scan last week at 16+2 and found out we are having a baby boy. The scan was so clear despite a very wriggly little baby and we got to see so much. Left with pictures, videos and 4D images. That was with Ultrasound Direct.

Good luck and enjoy! ❤️

We had private well being scams both times at 16/17 weeks.
Really clear and we were able to see baby moving loads. And we were able to find out the gender both times too.
I also got their heartbeat recorded into a teddy both time’s which I found helped to be able to listen to if I was feeling anxious!
We used window to the womb- would definitely recommend if there’s one near you.

Thanks everyone, it's so nice to hear about all your good experiences! The closest clinic to us is window to the womb so I think I'll go ahead and book in with them. Thanks for all your replys, x
