Should I be feeling more movements at 22+2?

First pregnancy so don’t know what is ‘normal’ but seeing other threads people seem to be getting lots more at just 20 weeks and can see their bumps moving.

Since 20 weeks I have felt an uncomfortable kind of poking/straining which only lasted about 10 seconds, but nothing before that point.

It was only this weekend I felt little bubbles popping inside me which seems more in line with first movements so I’m thinking what I was feeling from 20 weeks was maybe just things stretching and not movements at all.

Should I be worried or is it sounding all ok?

Sounds like stretching pains. Do you know if you have an anterior placenta? This would mean you wouldn’t be able to feel kicks as much

@Queenbee95 no it wasn’t mentioned at my 20 week scan. I hope nothing is wrong.

Lack of noticeable movements only becomes a concern at 24 weeks, so that you are already feeling something (the bubbling feeling, which is how it started for me too) is a good thing.

As well as being an ftm your build also affects things. If you are slim you're likely to feel things sooner than of you're heavier.

That bubbling feeling was how it started for me too, it will develop into stronger kicks as baby Gets bigger!
